At Helmy, service has always remained our top priority. We can assure you that your project will be completed in a timely manner & at an affordable price. Each of the services we offer below can be included or excluded depending on your project needs.
We proudly offer:
[learn_more caption=”Industrial Design”] Helmy’s designers and engineers can join in developing products from inception to production to ensure smooth thermoforming by working on MasterCam and SolidWorks. Whether working on a P.O.P. cosmetic display or an A/C drip tray, esthetics, function, durability, and economics are always in mind.We can quote and produce according to your designs and specifications or we can turn your design ideas into 3D drawing presentations for your approval.[/learn_more] [learn_more caption=”Prototyping / Research & Development”] At Helmy, designs turn into reality quickly and economically. Prototyping help establishes all required improvements and details of the final products to insure precision and thermoforming savings while maintaining product function and integrity.
If an actual sample is required before production , Helmy provides an accurate and economical way of prototyping and we will work with customers on all required R&D in the product design, forming methods, or material specification. This will insure easy streamline production therefore reducing costs and lead times.[/learn_more] [learn_more caption=”Tool Making / Tooling”] Helmy has an in-house tooling division to design and make prototype molds, production molds, and CNC trim textures.
Our designers work with MasterCam and SolidWorks and can translate most common CAD files formats for quoting and tool building.
Helmy combines new technology with long standing toolmaking methods and technologies therefore providing exceptional durability, tolerance, and finish. All trim fixtures and assembly fixtures are also designed and fabricated in-house. [/learn_more] [learn_more caption=”Thin Gauge Forming”] Thin gauge forming is great for producing:
- clamshells
- blisters
- packaging trays
- disposable parts
- product or product packaging inserts
Helmy operates in line forming equipment capable of high-speed production and precision trimming of thin gauge formed parts. Our in-line equipment can form parts as thin as 0.01″ gauge to 0.06″ gauge. We can produce parts using a variety of plastic materials including FDA approved and electrostatic material and we can color match to your specifications or color sample. Helmy has the capabilities to do short runs as well as long production runs and has supplied parts to medical, food and cosmetic industries.[/learn_more] [learn_more caption=”Heavy Gauge Forming”] Heavy gauge plastic forming provides exceptional products for:
- P.O.P displays
- Containers
- Panels Trays
- Housings
- Structural Components
Helmy operates several vacuum & thermo & pressure forming lines and is capable of producing oversized parts (up to 75″ x 100″ x 16″), tiny parts (as small as ¼”), and deep draw parts (up to 16″ deep).
Our unique forming techniques enables us to successfully Thermoforming products rendered difficult or impossible by others in the industry and we work with both short and long productions runs. We form most types of plastics including ABS, PETG, PVC, Styrene, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and others and color match to your sample or specification.
Helmy produces various heavy gauge parts for industries ranging from hospitals, stores, restaurants, buildings, gardens, aircraft, and computers.[/learn_more] [learn_more caption=”Trimming / Die-Cut”] At Helmy, trimming or die-cutting fixtures are machined to match the formed part since precision is essential to the production of the finished part.
Master Cam software is used to generate programming. Heavy Gauge Trimming is mostly done on 5-axis routers and thin gauge trimmings are done on hydraulic trim presses.
Our products are always inspected and our programs are always refined as needed to maintain superior accuracy. [/learn_more]
[learn_more caption=”Warehouse & Distribution Support”] Helmy has the capabilities to warehouse for customers and provide monthly, weekly, or daily shipments.
